This is a new travel and living journal about Thailand - mostly my experiences while traveling and living here. So why are experiences so important? They tell us what guidebooks and destination guides don’t. Sure, you need to gauge any experience against your own attitudes. You may have a completely different reaction than I did.

Life is made up of experiences .. some almost insignificant .. others, profound. If we’re smart, we learn from them. No doubt, your experiences will be different from mine. And part of reading this blog should include asking yourself how you would react in a similar situation.

I doubt that many of you are as lazy as I am, so you will surely seek out more adventure. I will pass on some tips from time to time. Now I travel slowly and deliberately, making sure not to miss a rest stop.
